From INOTEX 14 to TechOlympics, the Iran International Innovation District recorded a year of partnerships, product launches, and knowledge-based achievements.
The Iran International Innovation District (IIID) concluded Persian year 1404 (March 2025–March 2026) with a series of major technology exhibitions, international partnerships, and knowledge-based product launches, the IIID Media Center reported on April 20, 2026.
Throughout the year, the IIID hosted multiple large-scale events and facilitated significant technology transfers despite regional challenges, according to the IIID Media Center. Member companies developed solutions addressing societal needs while advancing the country's technological capabilities.

The INOTEX Pitch startup events were also held in Kerman, Sistan and Baluchestan, and Golestan provinces in preparation for INOTEX 2026.
At the 26th Iran Health Exhibition (June 8–11, 2025), 580 health and medical equipment companies from Iran and 18 international pavilions representing 20 countries participated. The event featured 1,000 B2B meetings, visits by the President and foreign delegations, and the unveiling of 18 new health products, the IIID Media Center noted.

Companies also achieved recognition as top knowledge-based enterprises, received export awards, and participated in international specialized exhibitions.
Throughout the year, domestic and international delegations toured the IIID to familiarize themselves with regional achievements. Visitors included Mustafa Prize laureates, Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) ambassadors, European Union economic counselors, and Markazi Province officials.
The second TechOlympics, organized by the IIID and PTP, drew participants from 65 countries and received coverage from 50 international media outlets across more than 20 countries, including the United States, France, Italy, China, Malaysia, and Namibia. The finals brought together top talent from 16 countries who competed across six technology fields over four days.
Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, described the event as "a competition of minds and horizons," stating that participating youth demonstrated science can break down walls and build bridges between nations.
The Danova 1404 event brought together hundreds of creative students, mentors, and innovation ecosystem activists at the IIID. Over three days of competition, top performers in Danova, Danova TeenExpo, and DanovaCup were recognized.
At the 23rd Annual Congress of Pardis Technology Park, five new products were unveiled for the first time in Iran across pharmaceutical, rail and transportation, polymer and rubber, and oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. Seven top regional companies for the year were also honored.
According to the IIID Media Center, the private sector invested over 150 trillion IRR in the IIID during the preceding year (Persian year 1403), and four national projects aimed at reducing the country's gas and electricity imbalances were pursued.
