iMentor, a company incubated at the Elite Technology Development Center within the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), successfully prevented 32 imminent suicide attempts across the country during the first 40 days of the recent conflict by providing free, specialized online psychological counseling, the IIID Media Center reported on May 16, 2026.
Amid the psychological crises exacerbated by the recent conflict, iMentor deployed a team of psychologists and mental health professionals to offer accessible, remote support to individuals in distress. Seyed Mohammad Sadegh Beheshtian, CEO of iMentor, emphasized that psychological crises do not recognize geographic borders, making the online nature of their services crucial for reaching individuals from border towns to major metropolises.
