IIID Incubator Company Launches First Multifunctional Waterproof Nano-Cast in Iran

The innovative product, developed by "Ganjano," has received official approval from the Iranian Food and Drug Administration. It represents a significant step forward in improving fracture treatment quality and enhancing the patient experience during recovery.

Key features of the new nano-cast include:

• Waterproof and Durable: Allows patients to maintain daily activities, including showering and light sports, without concern.
• Hypoallergenic and Lightweight: Designed to prevent skin irritation while providing robust structural support.
• Reusable as a Splint: Can be repurposed for continued support after the initial healing phase of the fracture.
• Highly Cost-Effective: Priced at approximately one-tenth of comparable foreign alternatives, making advanced orthopedic care more accessible.

Parisa Ganjinia, CEO of Ganjano and a PhD holder in Nanomaterials, stated that the company focuses on two complementary areas: developing nanocoatings for medical and orthopedic tools, and designing novel nano-casts. She noted that the product was born from academic research addressing the clear need to integrate nanotechnology with practical medical equipment.
