Deputy Minister of Health Tours Pardis Technology Park to Assess Medical Tech Achievements

The Deputy Minister of Health for Research and Technology, Shahin Akhoundzadeh, visited Pardis Technology Park (PTP) on May 6, 2026, to evaluate the capabilities of knowledge-based companies in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, the IIID Media Center reported.

During the visit, Mehdi Saffarinia, President of Pardis Technology Park, outlined the facility's capacities, recent achievements, and future development plans. The Deputy Minister’s tour focused on key areas of the innovation ecosystem:

  • Reviewing the on-site medical equipment exhibition to assess technologies developed by resident firms.
  • Touring a pharmaceutical company within the park to observe production processes and latest products firsthand.
  • Discussing strategic pathways to further integrate domestic health technologies into the national healthcare system.
